Known today for its wonderful residential communities and well renowned school system, Marlboro began as an agricultural community in the late 1600's. Formally established in 1848. Located in western Monmouth County, the township has undergone a great deal of residential and commercial expansion in recent years. It is 32 sq. miles and has an approximate population of 28,000.
